Hi! I'm Sunya Ajani, owner of Shoots By Sunya! I am a sophomore at UT Austin, majoring in Education and pursuing a minor in Educational Psychology and Health Communications! I am working toward becoming an Elementary School Teacher and love working with kids! I compete in pageants, competing in the Miss Texas' Teen competition for 2 years, holding the titles of Miss Lewisville's Teen and Miss Westlake's Teen, and now holding the title of Miss Denton 2026 to compete at Miss Texas in June 2026!  Through competing in pageants, I earned over $3000 in scholarships towards my college education. At UT Austin, I am in a sorority, Kappa Delta, and serve as the 2025-2026 Director of Health and Wellness! I am extremely passionate about all things related to fitness and wellness and hope to become a group fitness instructor in the coming year!

I have always had a passion for photography since I was in middle school and officially started Shoots By Sunya at the end of my senior year! Since then I have done graduation sessions, pageant photography, business headshots, and captured so many memories for my clients! I currently shoot primarily in the Austin area but my roots always take me back to DFW! I am excited to continue my passion for photography and capture your memories! Shoots By Sunya is all about capturing authentic and timeless memories and I can not wait to work with you!
